About Us

The adventure of musicianship can be fulfilling and a lifelong companion. But the path can be challenging without the necessary support. 

In 2013, I started Kindergarten in the south side of Chicago, IL. My class was part of an incubation program that brought kids together from many different backgrounds and communities. We were an eclectic bunch. We were a bit isolated from the rest of the school so we really bonded and stuck together as a class. Our most memorable and mischievous period was music class. The freedom we were given allowed us to experience the joy of sound and touch of the various instruments. Not really nirvana, but pretty close. 

I came to a realization that many of my friends in the class were not able to continue due to various hardships. Project CliKK was founded specifically to address these problems that I've personally experienced. 

Our team is made up of talented student musicians that aim to fulfill our mission.
