Project CliKK is honored to present An Evening with Nancy Zhou, a benefit concert featuring internationally acclaimed violinist Nancy Zhou.
On Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00 PM, Nancy Zhou will perform an intimate recital at the Kennan Hollingsworth Living Room at the Center for Chamber Music, with a program featuring works by Brahms, Mozart, Ysaÿe, and Kreisler. This concert will support Project CliKK’s mission to expand access to high-quality classical music education, mentorship, and performance opportunities for young musicians.
This benefit concert is more than a performance. It is a gathering around the belief that classical music should not remain locked behind institutions, geography, or privilege. Through concerts, educational programs, mentorship initiatives, and community partnerships, Project CliKK works to create pathways for young musicians to learn from world-class artists and to see themselves as part of a larger musical future.
All proceeds from this event will support Project CliKK’s growing educational and outreach initiatives.

Nancy Zhou is an internationally recognized violinist known for her probing musical voice and searing virtuosity, as described on her official website. Her thoughtful musicianship and global presence have brought her to stages with leading orchestras around the world. Born in Texas to Chinese immigrant parents, Zhou began studying violin with her father, who came from a family of traditional musicians. She later studied with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory while also pursuing literature at Harvard University. Since 2019, she has been an Associated Artist of the Queen Elisabeth Chapel.
A sought-after soloist and chamber musician, Zhou has performed with major ensembles including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Munich Symphony, and Hong Kong Philharmonic. Her artistry bridges technical mastery with historical insight, cultural memory, and personal interpretation, making her one of the most compelling violinists of her generation.
In addition to the benefit concert, Project CliKK will soon announce a special Nancy Zhou masterclass opportunity for young musicians.
This upcoming masterclass will give selected students the chance to work closely with Nancy Zhou in a focused educational setting, receiving artistic guidance from a violinist whose career spans international performance, teaching, and deep engagement with the violin as both an artistic and intellectual discipline.
More details about the masterclass, including application information, eligibility, schedule, and participation format; will be released soon.Students, families, teachers, and supporters are encouraged to check back for updates.
